And it is just oh so easy to publish unique content about something that you enjoy and about which you are knowledgeable. It certainly helps that I loved The Hunger Games books and thoroughly enjoyed the Hunger Games movie.

It also helps that the product designs on the Hunger Games Merchandise are just oh so wonderful.

I have had abuse in my Guestbook on the Squidoo Lens Not Pinterested. And a “respected” lensmaster is probably not quite as respected as they used to be, following a lengthy tirade, which I am sure was against me as well as others who don’t like Pinterest, on their own blog.

So I dont want my images pinned. What is wrong with that? I have made my point politely and respectful of the people who don’t agree with me. I even said PLEASE when I published my lens Please Do Not Pin My Images On Pinterest.

Oh well never mind…

But all this negativity has not distracted me from publishing new lenses:

A new niche that is competing well in a saturated topic and I am getting traffic and sales!

Then just recently, I turned my mind to my own Christmas Shopping and the fact that due to a deterioration in my Mother’s health over the past year, we could no longer buy her the gifts we would do normally. I set about looking for gifts for people with Vascualr Damage, due to stroke and then discivered that Alzheimer’s and Dementia sufferers have similar needs.

This resulted in Gifts for Alzheimer’s, which I hope will turn into an “evergreen” page that will be useful to guft buyers all year round, not just at Christmas.

The Kindle Color is set to rival the iPad for popularity and it will be interesting to see if the 250,000 ordered so far actually get as far as being delivered – there’s still time for people to cancel the order. I just hope that if they iorder through my lonks that they actually complete the sale!!

My other two new lenses, published just today, are as the result of more keyword research to find products that I can not only link into the Year of the Dragon, but which will also become “evergreen”: Swarovski Dragons and Dragon Jewellry.

Only five more lenses to go to reach my self imposed target of 200.

Now I am so close to my goal of 200 lenses, I have the impetus to keep publishing and I am finding it quite easy. I have more WIP lenses than I care to admit to and it is just a question of knuckling down and getting them done.

Followers of Chinese Astrology will know why I have been publishing these lenses – my online friends will be astounded that I have got so far ahead of the game. Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon will not be celebrated until January!

My final Halloween lens for this year is Vampire Outfits – probably too late to do much this year, but at least it will be well established for next year.

Amazon are launching a touch screen ereader the Kindle Touch, in November and they are relaunching the Kindle 3 as the Kindle Keyboard, in recognition that not everyone likes a touch screen.

So it’s 192 lenses published with 8 more to go but I will probably wait until I have published a few more before applying to the Giant Squid 200 club.

Bullying Help is a website that was born out of my determination to try to help the parents of children who are bullied. I don’t want other children and their families to go through what we went through when my daughter was bullied at school.

The other website is Writing Online is one that I co-own with two online friends: Bev Owens and Paula Atwell. The aim is to give people help and tips to enable them to expand their own online activities and start up their own blogs and websites, to compliment what they do on Squidoo.
