The Journey to Giant plus the colour purple!
Thursday 02 July 2009 – a landmark day in my Squidlife!
I got the email – yessssssssss! I made Giant Squid. Just under one year on Squidoo and I made Giant! Jahooo!
OK – so I know I did not do it as quickly as other lensmasters who joined Squidoo around the same time as I did. But that did not matter to me. If I have learned anything over the last few years, it is:
Do it in your own time and at your own pace!
I was still drifting on a cloud of “I made Giant” euphoria, when an email pinged into my InBox. OMG (that’s Oh My Gosh!) I’ve been awarded a Purple Star!
My most successful, and possibly saddest and most emotional, lens Bullying at Primary School was awarded a Purple Star! What an accolade.
Wow! What an incredible day.

AJ, it was only a matter of time of course. Congratulations and your lens is certainly more than deserving of a purple star or two!
