Putting Spirituality’s advice into practice: Day 1
I have just had the busiest two weeks in my Squidoo life (that is the last six months), which has meant that I have had to delay making use of the fantastic advice I received about my newest lens Lose weight from Spirituality in two of her Squidtop posts last week:
Reviewing aj2008 – linkbuilding.
I now have a bit more time and have printed off what Spirituality wrote (nearly 4 A4 pages!) and am about to put her advice into practice. I am recording the lens stats from today, so that I can see what happens:
Visits: 51
Star ratings: Average 5, rated by 25 people
Lensrank: 1,844
The highest ranking the lens has got so far is 1,453, at a time when I have been so busy that I have not had time to promote it very much outside of Squidoo.
I find I can generally give my Lensrank a boost when it is first published by posting on the SquidU forum, Twitter, Tagfoot and sending a Squidcast. This and any Angel Blessings I am lucky enough to receive, usually get the lens going, as I work out what other promotion I need to do, while I wait before hopefully Google and the other Search Engines start to find me.
I have now changed the title to Losing weight with a wheat free diet and am off to research some of the key words that Spirituality suggested plus revisit a couple of her lenses for a refresher course about keywords and SEO.
I have a feeling that some of my other lenses – heck who am I kidding, it will be all of them – will also need the Katinka treatment. Ah well, better to do it now while I only have 23 lenses to look at…..

“The Katinka Treatment” I like it!
I realized that I hadn’t seen that Lens yet, so just read it over, rated, commented favorited it. It’s very good, hope it does well for you!

The Katinka treatment? I don’t think I’m that original in my advice
but honoured to be named a treatment anyhow…
I too am very curious about whether you will be able to conquer this very crowded niche.
