Lens number 20 was inspired by another lens – Thank you Debnet

I had been hesitant about which topic to use for my 20th lens. I had been “humm-ing and haa-ing” all week over several ideas but for some reason I could not decide. I felt that this was a personal milestone, so no, I would not make the lens I want to make which is actually a rant. It did not seem appropriate and I will save that for another time!

Then I received an email yesterday from my friend Debnet, which got me thinking. Deb’s newest lens is Jim Cronin an amazing man who founded Monkey World in Dorset. A place that a few of us Brit lensmasters know. It’s a great lens, so I hope you will go and visit.

Then I got thinking about another man who does a lot for British Wildlife, Les Stocker, and bingo! Lens number 20 is: St Tiggywinkles – the biggest wildlife hospital in the world.

Thank you Debnet for inspiring me to do this lens.

Note added: Thankyou Cleanerlife for taking time to email me to say one of the links was mis-spelt!

There’s nothing that gets my compassion more than a sick animal. Thanks so much for this lens, AJ.
