Just a few kind words can make such a difference!
It’s been a rough couple of days in AJ’s household. Lovely Hubby and the girls are fine but we have worries about other family members, so I have been rather distracted. I try to live life believing that the glass is half full rather than half empty, but these latest worries after our small family business failed earlier in the year, do make me a bit low at times. That’s when the Squidoubts kick in.
I start to wonder if all this work is going to pay off. Should I try and get a “real job”, when I recover from the Otosclerosis? Is all the time I spend promoting my lenses, worth it or am I just chasing rainbows?
Then I log on to Squidtop and find a lovely message from Inkserotica and in the Guestbook of my lens Thanks for the help a comment from Lensmaster Chef Keem. Both really made me feel so appreciated. Maybe all this work really is worth it after all!

Girl, you ARE Squidoo — even before you ever heard of it, Squidoo was here waiting for YOU. There may be sacrifices you and your family have to make along the way, but you have found your niche — all of the success and satisfaction you can get from it is out there waiting for you just like Squidoo was waiting for you. For now success and satisfaction may come in dribs and drabs, but after a time, the positive energy you are building up can do nothing but burst forth into overflowing goodness in your life. I second that from Mimi! To me, you’re one of the best Lensmasters here at Squidoo along with a few others (maybe I should set up my own thanking lens!) and you’ve made me feel good by the support you’ve given me. I can also understand just how much a few kind words can do for you because I felt the same when I received such lovely comments from you! So, please do stick with it!
